Luna Peláez is a ceramic artsits, located in the Pacific Northwest.
Her practice is rooted in the basis of using the medium as a means of inquiry to inform her overall work. She is interested in using traditional elements and methods within her inquries, while further exploring areas within the field of ceramics, such as tactility of the medium, color, and surface decoration. She is passionate about ceramic knowledge— and enjoys sharing information with others about the wheel, kilns/firing methods and glaze chemistry.
